Chelsea are now close to signing Rennes goalkeeper Edouard
Mendy , reputable Italian insider Fabrizio Romano has just
tweeted.
The Blues are ‘confident’ in completing the transfer in the next
hours after submitting a new offer for the Frenchman earlier on
Friday.
Mendy has already agreed personal terms with the West
London club and is pushing for a move.
Chelsea will consider a move for West Ham ‘s Declan Rice after
signing the keeper, Romano adds.
